(i promised myself that i would finish this months ago, but i seem to have forgotten until i was looking at my post that were never complete ( trust me i have a lot))

Very cool
i traveled with my friend sally and here brother and father.

the only down side i had was it was cold and i brought short pants, they were experiencing November /December weather... i was experiencing FREEZING legs ( i was expecting a nice cool breeze like the ones in Korea so i packed light, thankfully i brought one pair of gray sweatpants... i never knew how excepting i would be to waring pants more than three times before washing them... that is ...until the trip) Also i left my camera recharger at home. But my friend let me take pictures with hers after mine ran out of juice.

We also to pet a koala. they were sleepy fellows and VERY soft. the Emus were a sight too! our tour guide gave us a bag of what looked like cereal to feed the big birds, i was thing to eat some too ( why not? the emus seem to have enjoyed it). their peck was hard and fast when it came to snacks.

the most part people might be thinking is what about the kangaroos? Yes, i did see them, they lied around, and the park allowed them to roam around the park, so it was quite an experience!!!

also, what about the opera house????? we saw that too.

One of the many things i did was sand surfing!!! the trick is to not open your mouth( and not fall over). It was hard to climb u the dunes because it was so deep out feet would sink in and u had to pull out each time u walked.

One of my favorite parts of the trip was when I was on a dolphin cruise.

There was live ( and wild ) dolphins right next to the boat, jumping around out of the water!!

once in a while they would leave but other times, I got a splash. That was so cool. they were closer to me that they were in Sea world.

hi everyone,
i haven't posted anything...
but if u look at my edit posts, u will see i have paragraphs that i never finished. :)
well i would like to tell u a little story we experienced while i live with my family here .
our family likes to play hide and go seek, like any other family. just one problem, we play it very seriously(but now days is hard to do with little Seaira following u around). one of our numerous games, mom thought she could fit in our little dryer... lets leave it like that.
after we go mom out(but she fit in real nice ) mom started the dryer and we continued the game.
about 14 minutes (enough for the dyer to get nice an toasty) it was dad's turn to seek.
Devin thought he was being "smart" and suspected no one would look in the dyer after that whole scene with mom; he decided to stop the dyer and just get in with no problem. but remember, the dyer was a little hot. so next thing u know Devin his holding an ice pack against his shoulder (having his shoulder been bare by waring a thin tank top). we could tell what had happen, just by knowing Devin.

the newest member of our family ............................... a slug....................
his name is Squishy
i got that name from Nemo.
we found him in our lettuce for our salad. lets just say mom wasn't to thrilled about that.
so i go t to keep the little guy along with the lettuce he has been munchin' on.
i was going to keep him in the kitchen but i guess mom lost her appetite. so squishy is in my room!!! i know it sound gross, but it is fun!!! he likes to sleep a lot too!
I'm having a lot of fun with him because he likes to go every where on my hand. if we were to let him go he would freeze so that is the main reason he isn't gone yet!!!

a little miracle

look at the picture above and you can see where this driver broke through the guardrail, on the right side of the culvert,where the people are standing the road, pointing. The pick-up was traveling about 75 mph from right to left when it crashed through the guardrail. It flipped end-over-end, bounced off and across the culvert outlet and landed right side up on the left side of the culvert, facing the opposite direction from which the driver was traveling. The 22-year-old driver and his 18-year-old passenger were unhurt except for minor cuts and bruises.Just outside Flagstaff AZ U.S. hwy 100 .

If this guy didn't believe in GOD before, do you suppose he believes now? Let this be a reminder to all of us, GOD is in control!

my mom had a button

that she found on the ground and she was just fiddling with it. then she saw searia's belly hanging out of her shirt, and pop* stuck it in the hole!!and this was during Scripture study. my dad was reading and had noticed it and started to laugh . so we are all just siting there laughing!!

on September 6th it was my birthday and we went to Seoul to celebrate !! my parent gave me a new camera!!! so I'll be able to take more pictures! here are some picture i took so far...

USA and back

As the family .......need to catch up...blogger .....in korea; we had a blast in Utah! well where do i begin??? i guess from the start. for our 12 hour flight devin and i had to chase Seaira up and down the plane! she was loaded with energy but after a while she fell asleep! But the best part was the view it was spectacular! all the stars and sometimes it was just pich black!well when we got off and found our luggage we waited for my uncle to pick us up we waited a while because he wasn 't clear on what day we would be there. so as we waited i fell asleep on our luggage! when we got there we surprised my aunt and cousins.we had fun there!! then we stayed at my dad's aunt's house then traveled to my grandparents house. we did all kinds of stuff there like shoping, riding horses and going pretty much every where!!! when we finally ended up at my aunt's house we went swimming and went to a movie and cramed every thing else in before the last week in the USA was up!!then we had to wake up very early to catch our plane! this time seaira didn't stay up most of the time!!
so now we are home burning because it's so hot and having fun. just the other day my brothers and i got our bikes, pumped them up and just as we were about to ride ....... it started to rain but we rode anyway, until it started to pour!!! well how's that for a long time info, am i almost caught up???

mom, the boys and little Seaira has gone to "Korean Grandma" to send the new day with them; and that leaves me and dad home (well because i have to go to a youth conference in the morning) so me and dad so take a spin on dad's cycle!! we were gone for at least 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!! so by the time we got home i couldn't even stand because my feet were sooooooo COLD!!! i forgot to say that we went to the beach and there was a guy with his car in the water that dad said "it's funny but funny"!!!! we felt bad for the guy!!..............................

as soon as i got home i snuggled in my sleeping bag to get warm!!!

in the morning i awoke and the snow was on the ground! we played out side and had a blast! we made a fort and a snowman and we stayed out side until our hands were red. mom came out side and took some pictures and as you can see Dillon came in early so he wasn't in the pictures. as mom was taking the picture (while we sat on our masterpiece the camera took a picture as we fell down )!! over all we had a great time!!!!!!!!

every one in the rix family has Christmas in their minds!! we can't seem to wait to feast our selves until we can't eat no more !!man oh man i remember last year........... we spent our Christmas in an army lodge an had to buy a Christmas tree and our star was a paper plate that i colored yellow!! Oh how could i forget, dad's biggest sox was our stockings that had fruit in them that made them look like little snow men!! i think that was the best Christmas ever ( and one never to forget)!!!
